ASENDIA participated in the '20th Semiconductor Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony,' held on October 22nd at the COEX Conference Room in Seoul, thereby joining the effort to nurture future talent for the domestic semiconductor industry.
The event, hosted by the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association (KISA), was attended by 18 major domestic semiconductor companies and 19 scholarship recipients. ASENDIA participated in this scholarship program for the first time this year and selected Sunghyeok Park from Gachon University's Department of Next Generation Semiconductor as the 'ASENDIA Scholar.'
During the ceremony, Executive Vice President Jonghwan Yoon personally presented the scholarship certificate and stated, "ASENDIA views not only technological innovation but also the cultivation of future talent as a crucial social responsibility for the company. We will continue to actively support young talents so they can lead the growth of the semiconductor industry."
The 'Semiconductor Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony' has been held annually by KISA since 2006 to discover outstanding talents who will lead the future of the semiconductor industry and to expand the industry's social contribution activities. Marking its 20th anniversary this year, the scholarship program has become a representative talent development initiative in the semiconductor sector.
This year's ceremony saw major domestic and international semiconductor companies, including Samsung Electronics, SK hynix, DB HiTek, SEMES, Lam Research Korea, FST, and TES, participate to award scholarships to the talents who will lead the future industry. ASENDIA, a leading domestic RF specialist that independently developed RF Matchers and RF Generators for semiconductor equipment, is committed to building a sustainable industrial ecosystem centered on technological innovation and ESG management.
ASENDIA's participation in this scholarship program is regarded as a meaningful step that fulfills its social responsibility as a member of the industry and embodies a corporate culture of growth alongside future talent.
